Have a seat
After a very long wait, the chairs are finally here and they look fantastic! Now I need a tall and bold piece of wall art to counter the strong horizontal line of the room that runs at window sill height.
hey, i found your blog on the AT cure thread. you've got some beautiful furniture, and i think the all white space is screaming for some really dramatic wall colors, an orange or a purple. those are my current obsessions, at least.
and yes, some gigantic art. something really Pop-inspired, like a giant piece of candy or a larry fink-, david lachapelle-type photo.
sorry if this is being intrusive, but your furniture really caught my eye and i wanted to say something.
Thanks guys! I personally would love to add a bit of color to the walls, but I'm renting and probably not for more than a year or two longer. I'm fighting the twin demons of low budget and a picky SO, so I plan on making a huge piece of wall art on my own.
The couch is from Innovation, a futon store on Houston. It was surprisingly inexpensive, though I would get it in fabric if I could do it over again because the "leather" is cheap and scratches very easily.
